How Do I Prepare For Eyelid Surgery?
Avoid aspirin, NSAIDs, and Vitamin E to reduce bleeding. Limit sun 2 weeks before and 2+ months after surgery; use UV sunglasses and sunblock if needed.
It is advisable to take 1 gm vitamin C twice a day to improve wound healing.
Prepare ahead with ice packs and medical necessities. Nail polish should be removed prior to surgery for the anaesthetic equipment requirement.
